The Beverly Hills Film Festival - "The Void Divine"

Last week was an extraordinary event that I had the honor to attend from Wednesday through Sunday. The amount of films, seminars, and people I was able to see and meet has left a lasting impact on me.

From the incredible speeches at the awards gala to the powerful messages I discovered in the films to the important insider information I received in the seminars, I left the festival forever changed for the better.

I am so much more inspired and motivated for my own career as a professional actor, screenwriter, producer, and director. Thank you to everyone who I met, listened to, and the jury who accepted my screenplay "The Void Divine" as an official selection.

I am very grateful for everything I had the chance to experience!

"The Void Divine" and "Welcome to the Void" Awards and Screenings!

It's been one busy couple of weeks for the world of THE VOID!

I am pleased to share this incredible honor of winning SECOND PLACE in the Las Vegas Screenplay Contest for my feature length post-apocalyptic screenplay "The Void Divine"!!!

Also my 30 minute short film "Welcome To The Void" which is the prequel to the feature has been accepted into the Movie Park Film Festival! The film will be screened online on Sunday, April 24th at 12:05 PM to 12:35 PM!!!

I am so grateful to be a part of these two prestigious and amazing festivals. I can not thank enough to my entire team of the cast and crew of "The Void" for believing in this story. Thank you all so very much and remember there is #NoSleepInTheVoid!!!

Auditions, Classes, Meetings..... Oh My!

September has started off with a bang!

-I am back in the writing room after obtaining some great advice from executives at a film festival as well as a literary agent to alter the 22 minute "The Void" teleplay into a 40 minute script! So I've begun rewriting all 6 scripts of Season One adding more drama, action, character development, and a much larger world for the storyline to take a bigger emotional journey!

-I am now officially INSANITY certified! Not only can I inspire the world through my storytelling as an actor/screenwriter/director but I can now teach anyone to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life as an INSANITY instructor!

-A few auditions are on the horizon with many thanks to Backstage! Here's hoping I knock them all out of the park and I can truly beginning networking with many talented artists in Cali!

-Classes are just about starting up for the SAG-AFTRA LA Conservatory. It will be a very busy month as I continue to hone my craft, work in improvisational classes, and better learn more about me!

Officially Moved to Cali!!! It's CRUNCH TIME!!!

Well I am officially a West Coaster!

Now it's crunch time as I prepare dozens of headshots, resumes, and reels to be sent out to obtain an Acting/Writing LA Agent and/or Manager!

I have also submitted The Void, Blood Lust, and How I Got Over My Ex to Film and Television festivals all over the country. Hopefully soon I can obtain a distribution deal or get in touch with a successful production company or network to make these films and television pilots a reality!

I've also joined Meetup, the SAG-AFTRA LA Conservatory, and NextGen Filmmakers in hopes of networking with many inspirational artists all across Los Angeles.

Not to mention I can finally start getting SAG-AFTRA auditions, taking acting classes again with Anthony Meindl, and get back to work at Central Casting LA!

It's going to be a long, hard journey but I am focused and determined to make my dreams come true!

Also The Void, Blood Lust, How She Became My Ex, and How I Got Over My Ex are being submitted to film festivals, screenwriting competitions, and teleplay events across the country!

Here's hoping for the best as my wife and I are just ONE MONTH away from our big move to California!!!

Big Updates Coming Soon!

4/22/2014

1) Have been writing a lot for my vampire feature screenplay "Blood Lust". Story and characters are definitely coming together with 100 pages and counting!

2) Jotted down ideas and outlines for a Zombie Feature, City Riot Feature, Assassin/Gang War Feature, and so much more!

3) The Void Pilot Episode launch is just a few weeks away! Post-production is moving forward!
4) "How She Became My Ex" was accepted into the Jersey Shore Shorts Festival! I've also been submitted the feature screenplay sequel "How I Got Over My Ex" into festivals all across the country.

5) Packing every day with my wife as we prepare to move to California. A great big new chapter is about to begin!!!
